1Lb. Sweet Italian Buffalo Sausage 1 32oz. Jar prepared pasta sauce 1 small onion diced 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves ground black pepper to taste 1 tablespoon sugar Combine sauce, oregano, basil, pepper, and sugar in 2 quart sauce pan and place on low heat. Slice sausage in 1 inch strips In a fry pan, cook onion and sausage together over medium high heat until sausage is thoroughly cooked (about 10 - 12 minutes). Combine onions and sausage with sauce and simmer for 1 hour stirring every 10 minutes. Use with your favorite cooked pasta Serves 4 |
